Data supporting our cause and college students’ challenges.

The latest California Student Aid Commission (CSAC) Student Expenses and Resources Survey (SEARS) reveals a general uptick in college-related costs, notably in essential areas such as food, housing, and transportation. Total annual expenditures for students have increased. As expected, supplementary expenses linked to attending college have risen compared to previous years. In contrast to the 2018-2019 SEARS findings, there has been a noticeable growth in the overall yearly financial burdens faced by students.
